According to the IMDB it began in 1989 and there were 5 series, little wonder I only vaguely remember it then because I would have only been 4 when it started lol They are all available on DVD too, well, series 5 is pre-order and out at the end of December. They aren't too badly priced either, Play.com have them for between £14 - £18 each, which is better than the stupid prices a lot of series are released at, which is usually around £40 each

I don't like getting stuff used like that, I only ever look at new buy it now stuff, generally from shop sellers whenever I use eBay.

Got my Star Wars DVD's today, wish I'd paid more for the region 2 instead of the region 2/4 versions though, they have, if you can believe it, bigger and more annoying rating labels on them than the BBFC ones here. Well, it is the content that matters

I bought both seasons of HOUSE on new DVDs and on both sets there's at least one episode that gets frozen. Maybe I would have done better buying used!

Just return them Becky, might be a batch problem. I was looking at those myself, the 2nd season has just come out on DVD but it is £40 in most places, that is more than double the price any boxset like that should be I think. If TV boxsets were <£20 I bet a lot more people would buy them, I know I would.

I don't think I kept the receipts (smacks self on the head). They ARE very expensive, but I was on major House withdrawal with the stupid World Series knocking it off the regular programming for a month. I agree with you. I'd buy a lot more TV shows on DVD if they were cheaper.

House is back tomorrow isn't it? It's annoying for me because I never know if a TV show from the US will be on from one week to the next. House and The Simpsons haven't been on for weeks but I found out they are back soon, and it seems there was no NCIS, CSI or Greys Anatomy last week I download high quality ones when I can, HDTV rips, 700mb per episode usually (normal rips are 350mb per episode) they look cool, I can't wait for HDTV to appear properly here, we always get stuff last
