Lloyd getting 'Stacked'; Fox taps Berenger
In his first comedy series since his Emmy-winning turn on "Taxi," Christopher Lloyd has joined Fox's Pamela Anderson starrer "Stacked." Also, Tom Berenger has been cast in Fox's one-hour pilot "Amy Coyne," and "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum Luke Perry and Jason Gedrick have been tapped to star in Fox's drama pilot "Ticket to Ride."
In other pilot news, "Ray" co-stars Larenz Tate and Harry J. Lennix have joined CBS' "Love Monkey" and ABC's "Commander in Chief," respectively.
Also cast in "Commander in Chief" in a lead role is Kyle Secor.
The 20th Century Fox TV-produced "Stacked," which received a six-episode order, stars Anderson as a woman working at a bookstore who's trying to change her life and break her habit of falling for less-than-responsible men.
Lloyd will play an eccentric patron of the bookstore.
Lloyd, also known for his role in the "Back to the Future" franchise, most recently co-starred on CBS' critically praised drama "Clubhouse."
He is repped by the Gersh Agency and manager Andrew Freedman.
"Amy Coyne," from 20th Century Fox TV, centers on a young woman (Ashley Williams) who inherits her father's sports agency after he dies.
Berenger plays an associate at the agency who was the No. 2 to the woman's father and now becomes a mentor to her.
Berenger, an Oscar nominee for 1986's "Platoon," most recently starred in USA Network's series "Peacemakers."
He next will be seen in the TNT miniseries "Into the West."
Berenger is repped by ICM.
"Ticket to Ride," from Regency TV, revolves around 20 people from all walks of life who share a lottery ticket that wins $386 million.
Perry and Gedrick will play two of the winners -- a jornalist and a university professor, respectively.
Perry, whose series credits also include "Jeremiah" and "Oz," is repped by the Gersh Agency and manager Steve Himber.
Gedrick's TV credits include NBC's series "Boomtown" and CBS' limited series "Falcone."
He is repped by the IFA Talent Agency.
"Love Monkey," from Paramount Network TV and Sony Pictures TV, chronicles the lives of four male friends in various stages of dating and marriage through the eyes of a single music executive (Thomas Cavanagh).
Tate will play one of the friends.
Tate, whose feature credits also include "Biker Boyz" and "Why Do Fools Fall in Love," is repped by the Gersh Agency, King Management and attorney John Meigs.
The two-hour, cast-contingent "Commander in Chief," from Touchstone TV, centers on the first female president of the United States.
Secor will play the president's husband. Lennix will play the outgoing president's chief of staff.
Lennix, who played Lock in the last two "Matrix" films and also co-starred in "Barbershop 2: Back in Business," is repped by CAA and manager Emily Gerson.
Secor, whose series credits include "Philly," "City of Angels" and "Party of Five," is repped by the Gersh Agency and Brillstein-Grey
