It isn't easy meeting someone when you are 1,000 miles apart, but hopefully it will happen sometime, and hopefully before too long

Well hopefully I'll be starting a 1 year placement as of this summer, so I'll actually be able to afford something proper for a holiday. I haven't ever been on holiday by myself, something I'd like to do for once, although the holiday I'd have in mind I wouldn't be alone the whole time I think

They send us emails from Uni a lot with placement oppurtunities on, some good ones for EMI t'other week but like most of the best ones they are in London, and I don't want to be moving away for a year, which would cut a fair chunk from whatever I earn anyway.

I haven't applied for any yet, but I saw a couple that I will apply for; one is a web design type one at Liverpool university, £9k and one a Pilkingtons, something related to information systems so am not sure of that yet, but it is much closer, and £12k, so I'm going to find out about that one a little more before I apply.
