Flippy hell, thats alot . No wonder its costs to so much but then surely it makes it easier to alter a film rather than having to cut through reals of film to get what they wanted? Also i would imagine its easier to incorperate special effects?

Well it easier for the reasons you mentioned, for cutting and editing, special effects processing etc but also it never degrades in quality over time, so for the next big format after DVD they won't have to go back and re-master films, simply grab the master copies from the hard drive and convert them to whatever format.

Better not say that too loud Russ, a lot of people don't like the sequels as much lol Personally I like all 3 and couldn't pick a favourite.

For that motorway scene they actually built a few miles of motorway to film on, as there was no way they could have closed one off to film on/destroy lol I loved the burly brawl (Neo fighting 100+ Agent Smiths) I thought that was brilliant, the choreography, the CG, the music, just ace

The thing that people don't tend to realise is that they wrote it as a trilogy, they had it all from the begining, the same with Star Wars.

There are some amazing scenes in the 3rd film; there is more cool fighting, this time in the streets and flying above a city in the pouring rain, and also the sentinel thingies break through into Zion and that whole sequence is just mad.
