Got to start deciding on what my final project will be now. It runs all year and is worth the equivelant credits of 3 modules. There were 2 core modules (compulsory) which are User Interface Design and Multimedia Development Workshop, and to make up to 120 credits I had to pick 5 more and I chose Virtual Reality, Advanced Computer Graphics, Multimedia Databases, Contemporary Issues In IT and Computing In Education. The others which I didn't choose were Computer Security, Expert Systems, Multimedia Networking, Wireless Networks, Mobile Computing, Forensic Computing andDistributed Systems. I could have picked 2 more from those, but I'd have to pay for them and it's more work, not to mention that I struggled picking 5, let alone 2 more.
I'm looking forward to this year, now that I'm getting over the fact of not having a placement, which I really wanted, and not getting to graduate with all my friends, but it does look good, albeit difficult, especially the project. I'm still working on ideas for it, I'm not sure to go with something about multimedia in home entertainment, or be more specific and look at animation. It isn't a case of picking something and making it, like making an animation or writing a piece of software, but the report; they don't actually give any marks for the implementation of it, it's all about how you write it up, why you are doing it and that you know why you are doing it.
Lovely day today, went to the park (posted my photos in the approproate thread) and had the house to myself since I got up around 10am and for a while longer yet too

I love the peace and quiet.
