If you get the answer, some science web site will give you a million bucks in US money. I don't know what the exchange rates are, but it would make most bank ballances healthy.

why cant i work out a good way to record?

i dunno. best way to go about it is to kit urself up with some decent recording gear, a nice digital recorder (or analogue if ur obssesed with stuff like that) a decent condensor micfor ur vocals and a shure sm57 for just about everythign else then providing uve got decent instruments u shouldnt have too much trouble apart from drums.

will run u a bit of money but considering the price would get u a couple of days in a decent studio if ur lucky compared to endless hours. days. weeks etc... to do it on ur own at ur leisure then its worth it in the end.

at the moment ive got about £1,500 - 2 grand wrapped up in my recording setup and im about to get an electric drumkit for recording thatll run me another grand but IMO its well well worth it for nothign more than not havign to sit with fat old engineers who look like status quo fanclub members name droppign people and generally makign whatever u do sound like shit.
