Tortellini with Carbonara sauce. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Here is a hypothetical situation, purely hypothetical:
Say your significant other loses their mobile phone, and they are very distraught about it. They turn to you and say "If you find it, I'm going to give you something really good." So the proceding search turns up nothing. Later on a second mobile goes missing, but the significant other has an idea of where it could be, but you search the suggested possible location and FIND it.

The question is would you still be eligible to the "something really good" because you found it as stipulated, on their suggestion, or is it mute because the mobile was likely to be found in any case?
