couldn't tell ya. they are all (well most) special in their own ways

but definitely some of the 80s shows were fantastic.

yeah glasgows got an excellent scene

go and see a local band youve never heard of and take the risk or see a safe bet?

if I had somebody that came with me, I'd see an unknown band pretty much every day of the week (or something like that).

we have a ton of clubs that have no-name or local acts and I love seeing them. usually it is $8 for 3 bands/performers - some are aweful, most are ok, and some are really good. I love it. even the bad ones. unfortunately, I don't have anybody to go with, so I don't often go to the no-name shows as it is really silly to stand there by myself.

bla bla bla - I do go by myself all the time. the difference being that at a bigger venue you have assigned seating and everything is easier when you are by yourself. little venues you just stand around like you were stood up.
