Trying to ignore him (in my case, it's a him), but it's getting harder and harder to ignore his stupidity..

You?

yes I am just finding myself with lots less patience for idiots and I am afraid it is starting to show. I told my boss 'to do whatever floats his boat' after he asked my opinion on holding regular monthly meetings. I don't think he liked my lack of enthusiasm

do you catch yourself saying inappropriate things to people you work with or are you always professional?

I have a tendency to say inappropiate things, I'm afraid. It's not that I want to, but sometimes words jus come right out of my mouth and I can't stop them.

Are you more of a professional than I am or are you the same?

I think I am the same.

Do you think you have a good grasp on what exactly constitutes sexual harrassment and do you think you've ever been guilty of it?

I do think I have, but isn't sexual harrassment like beauty in the eye of the beholder? I don't think I've ever been guilty of it.

Mine question is the one above: isn't sexual harrassment like beauty in the eye of the beholder?

that's what I thought previous to my training. Now I am afraid I've crossed the line numerous times and did things that were grounds for immediat dismissal I just didn't know.

do you think emphasis on appropriate behavior at the workplace is extremely important?

No. I sometimes kinda like inappropiate behaviour. Depends who it's coming from, of course. And when I do find some behaviour inappropiate, I think I can handle it myself.

Is your training useful?

I think so, but discussing it with someone else, we've come to the determination that the people that really need it won't get it anyway. While you might be able to handle yourself (as I would like to think of myself), the fact is that through certain actions and language people are put in situations they wouldn't want to be in otherwise. Kind of a peer pressure thing and while some people don't think much of it, others are highly insulted. Especially in a very diverse workplace - with people from all sorts of nationalities, cultures and religious beliefs.

did I pay attention to my training even though I was browsing jt at the same time?

I'm sure you did.

But when people get insulted, they can tell the other person that, right?

yes, but sometimes it is rather difficult to tell your boss or coworker that you are insulted and you never know what repurcussions that might have.

vodka or gin?
