This is my first post in one of these threads for a long long long time and this post wont be playing the game. Its simply to back Carli up on this one. What Alan Smith did was an absolute discrace to not only his club, but to the loyal followers of Leeds United as well. He has been a Leeds supporter all his life, and IF! he was a proper fan himself, then he would realise how much any 'Genuine' Leeds fan fans Manchester United. To decide to join a club like Manchester United, when you have been a lifelong Leeds United fan all your life is nothing but a discrace in my opinion (and im sure many others too).

Alan Smith has done the dirty on his boyhood club and stabbed all their fans in the back, having origionally said that he would never play for another club, never mind the clubs biggest rivals. If I supported Leeds, he would now be on my most wanted list. Like Carli said. Allwyn your right though, football shouldnt be about hatred but often it is. Its all about Passion. Thats what football is all about. Passion is what I love most.

I dont have a bad bone in my body, but given the chance I would love to give Wayne Rooney a good punch in the ribs, because he has done exactly the same as Alan Smith. He said he loved Everton Football Club. He claimed he would never wish to play for another team, yet as soon as an offer comes along where more money is involved, he snatched Manchester United's hand off. He was in it for the money. Just like Alan Smith. We all know that. But, if he was a loyal fan and loyal player of the team they have supported all their lives, then no way would either of them join a team like Manchester United. Manchester United fans are hated (almost ) just as much here in Liverpool, as they do in Bradford where Carli lives. Perhaps if Wayne or Alan had moved to different clubs, then maybe, just maybe, we wouldnt hate them so much. But the fact that the pair of them joined Manchester United, their biggest rivals, thats what myself and Carli hate so much. I would never invite him back to play for Everton now after what he did. He tourned his back on the club and the supporters. I will never forgive him. This is just the passion for my team that runs through my blood.
