if it wasnt so expensive im sure a lot more people would go. it is $6 here, which i think is a bit expensive, but that might be kind of cheap compared to some places. then you have to add in snack and drinks which is also kind of expensive

It is 18 dollars here for two people. It sure has gone up quite a lot.

Well it is only slightly more here for cinema tickets than a DVD rental I think, I get a discount because I'm a student and I often go on Wednesdays because it's 2for1, but if you get a drink and something to eat too it can push it up a bit.

I never rent DVD's though, I'd much rather see a film as the cinema, and then probably buy it on DVD when its released anyway.

Why do you have to? Eat at home.

If there's anything I don't like in theatres, it is the fissling of popcorn and the crunching of tacos.

Mmmmm..they remind me of Doritoes. That is a bit better then, although still quite annoying I am sure.

Well you don't but usually I at least get a drink otherwise I'd be thirsty. I like to see films at the cinema anyway just for seeing it on such a big screen with deafening sound and such, and not having to wait 6-8 months just to be able to see it at home

Back from the theatre. WOW! After all I've read it was still quite different from what I expected, but very good and impressive.
At the beginning I found Wayne's dilemma was told too fast paced to create any sympathy. But then again, there was really a LOT that had to be told and it was nicely put together and worked out very well, I felt.
Like someone before I found the voice of Batman a bit odd (although it was obviously dubbed over here). Apart from that the cast was outstanding and the story was quite deep for a comic adaptation. There are some well thought allusions included. For all the less sophisticated movie goers the movie was action packed and entertaining. Some things seemed ridiculously fast paced and jumpy, but after all it is a comic flick. A damn good one.
