Scarface

ok so i was talking to my friends about good films and what they would recommend to go and watch. they told me to go see scarface because it was a fantasic film and even celebs on mtv (probs rappers!!) say it was a must have film!

i had just bought the Godfather trilogy on dvd and watched it for the first time i thought it was one of the best films iv ever seen! and i heard scarface was the same level!

i watched it and i now think it is one of the most over-rated films iv ever seen in my life!! tho i seem to be one of only a few people! the film is just average at best! the plot bearly holds up and it film moves so fast with very little to back it up! like tony marring the guys wife. there was like 3 scenes with them together and it really didnt show much chemistry!

anyone else think that this film is over-rated??

i've seen this film, liked it but i prefer Carlitos Way

greatest movie of all time, of course in my opinion. Al Pacino's performance was superb. he should have won an oscar for it.

I believe everything about this movie is great. performances, storytelling, everything.

I haven't watched it in ages.
perhaps I should watch it again.

I just remember being facsinated in how the way Tony Montana gets crazier and crazier until the end, and right there when he kills his friend for ****ing his sister, you just know he's lost it comepletely.
Love it.!

I never actually could make it through this movie. I've tried several times to watch it but it just doesn't hold my interest. I don't even like Michelle Pfeiffer in it ... other than staring at her .... Not a huge Al Pacino fan either - he is great for the same role over and over and over ....
