The time with WAN wasn't the first time though. Giving Jon credit for the succes of Keep The Faith is a bit of a stretch and doesn't make much sense considering Jon was the guy who ran the band into the ground on the New Jersey tour in the first place. Sure, afterwards Doc McGhee was blamed by the entire band but it was Jon who kept approving the extra shows and the grueling tour schedule. This has been a constant factor in most of their subsequent world tours. The schedules either did damage to the band, to his voice or to their popularity, and it's always been because of the same thing; money.
