2020: The New Album

Because 2020 was the first year Jon appeared in a photo alone, right?

Esta no es otra simple foto de Jon, esta parece diferente. Sinceramente, esa foto refleja exactamente lo que Bon Jovi es a dia de hoy, y no puedo estar mas triste por ello.

This ain't another simple photo of Jon, it seems different. Honestly, that photo reflects exactly what Bon Jovi is today, and I can't be sadder about it.

its the first time i feel the new album and tour must tank so badly that jon will have to reconsider his whole point of view...

I mean the album is going to tank no matter what, I just don't think it bothers the band camp. As long as it debuts high so they can tell people it did it doesn't matter what it sells.

Given streaming now factors into chart positions as well, who knows if they'll be able to pull that off.

@Rolo: I mean, look at the cover of the debut. And I guess... looking back, NOW, of course it's Jon's journey. The only guy who also had considerable creative input all along the course is gone. By keeping the band name, it is now Jon's journey, and has always been.

Before, Jon had a kind special band, now it's not like that, is more to the Power Station Years period. Many musicians but there is nothing special about it.

Reconsider what ? This is the end buddy. 2020 has every chance to be their last album and tour, there's nothing to regret. Back in 1990 people had reasons to be worried or sorry because those guys still had much to offer. Nowadays, the well is dry. Jon can't sing, Richie's gone but is the quarter of the player he used to be anyway. Enjoy the legacy, the body of work, that's what people can be thankful for.
