Paying 100 dollars for a good box set with a lot of unreleased material would be a fair price if there are more than 4 discs, but must be unreleased songs from the vaults. With a good finish of photographs and others. The problem is if it's not linked to a "big-selling album" like a SWW special edition or something like that, I don't think it's going to be a massive seller, only fans would buy this. And lately we are not many.

Another option is to release several EPs in digital format throughout the year, and at the end of the year, through the fan club, to be able to acquire a copy in physical format of these EPs in one Box with a photo book.

I really don't know how they are going to launch a box set in the next few years, it still remains a mystery. But I don't think it's through only the fan club, as it wouldn't be a massive sell-off.
$100 for a box set while only 3 years after It's My Life though. Though it had no promo, the New Jersey re-release tanked. Go digital, no production overhead. Richie sold off his publishing so I don't think he would be part of this equation but there's a small loyal audience that will pay for the stuff digitally, there's not enough of us to warrant a physical product. Just my opinion though. Or do it digital and have a higher priced physical product that's limited edition.
