Bon Jovi just announced their new album Bon Jovi: 2020 will arrive, you guessed it, later in 2020, and until that set drops, millions of fans will continue to stream and buy one of the group’s most successful releases. The outfit’s Greatest Hits compilation has now spent 150 weeks on the Billboard 200, falling off the tally and returning constantly. This time around, it’s at No. 175, so it could disappear once again, but it likely won’t be gone for too long.

Do you think the new single is coming out next Friday? If not, I think the promotion of singing the single just knowing the lyrics, will have lasted a long time. Personally, it already bored me.

I have the feeling that it will be next week, since this Friday is Valentine's Day, and it may not have as much impact.

Let's be realistic. Whether it's Valentine's Day or not doesn't change the single's general impact. Besides the fan base, it'll mostly go pretty much unnoticed.

I'm quite surprised that everybody is so bent on the single coming on a Friday. For the past 15 years, each single had been played, streamed or dropped at some point before the release-Friday. THINFS was put onto Youtube etc. on a Friday in 2016, but got played on British radio two days prior I think. Born To Follow streamed on the band's site on Monday or Tuesday, Because We Can was played on American radio mid-week, HAND premiered on German radio on a Monday. What I'm saying is that it usually leaks or gets an exclusive preview deal somewhere before the Friday-release.

Maybe Jon actually hasn't recorded his own vocals yet and keeps waiting for "inspiration" from the fans?
