Fair enough. Enjoy!

We agree to disagree 😉

Don’t get me wrong...I’m going to listen to it loads and me and my daughter will be singing it all day long.

That doesn’t mean that ‘objectively’ it doesn’t suck. I just find your optimism difficult to believe.

I think I might like it. MUCH better than Unbroken.

I hear the "whoa-oh-oh-oh" from We Don't Run and Teardrop to the Sea, the catchy, disjointed phrasing from Good Night NY, and the drive of Knockout. So, yeah, it's nothing new; but as someone said earlier, innovation hasn't been Bon Jovi's long suit for quite some time. That hasn't kept me from liking their songs yet.

An added plus: if the rest of the lyrics are in a similar vein, they won't need to film a new video. They could splice together scenes from WDOA with live shots from the current lineup. (Or they could just use the images of a weary Jon from WDOA with shots from Unbroken, since "it's about me".)

It's not optimism so much as giving it a chance to suck haha.

haha it reminds me of the Triumph The Comic Insult Dog and his remark about Jon's vampire movie: "Finally a role that REQUIRES you to suck!"

Since he's given up his "movie career", he finally seems to have found that role again

lol now I feel bad I enjoyed the joke that much but I've read the comments about the new song/snippet here and there and most of them are positive. I think JBJ can rest easy... until the live perfomance somewhere next week *as rumoured

This happens a lot, though. Good feedback and then the songs/albums wear off.

You've just described a natural order of things in BJ world. No more classics, now it's about churning out radio-friendly POP SONGS. And they're only interesting because they're new... then one is tempted to yawn at more of the same old same old.
*maybe that's why it's so difficult to have a guess in a BJ song quiz xD

That's also because the comments on the Instagram and Facebook pages are as filtered as the vocals on Limitless.
