Trouble with the new albums is that it has no Richie influence. Its all JBJs lyrics and vision.
THINFS missed Richies influence musically and lyrically and Id suspect the new will as well - based on what we have heard so far. Even Phil X has no say in the new sound.

I remember Jon said there was a "Dry County type" song; but I was under the impression he may have been referring to the themes or lyrical content, more than the length. Seems like there was a discussion here about it not being like Dry County guitar-wise for some reason. Maybe because Phil-X implied there weren't any long solos? I don't remember the details. Or I could be confusing it with another conversation.

Which is the song number 10 btw, but who knows.
