I am very curious to hear Phil X's work on the new album. There is supposed to be a song in which John Shanks fought to keep Phil's guitar solo. I want to hear that, I want to see what Bon Jovi could be like with Phil X doing something worthwhile.

Didn’t Jbj say there was a 7 min song - not unbroken but another long song

If thats the case thats 17 minutes gone. Over half of the album for 3 songs. I may remember incorrectly but I thought Jon said it was in the vein of Dry County, I got excited when I heard that, but when Jon talks about how new songs sound, he seems to refer to the lyrics.
I'm not sure he cares about the song musically these days, its all about the lyrics. Its a shame hes losing it and is only coming up with songs that school kids can write. Definitely interested to hear the album though.

Odds are there will be bonus tracks in Japan. There almost always is and the titles tend to come a bit later. I'm hopeful this ain't it and if it is, the quality is up there.
