Many people are not staying home, they do not take confinement seriously. I think artists do well to sing songs from home, I don't care if they live in a mansion. The message is still correct: stay home!

it's great that Jon did that, but let's be honest - it was a PR stunt. He could have done it without having his photo taken and being posted on Social Media. With a new album just a few weeks away, it's a great way to getting press. Cynical? sure. True? absolutely. It's not a critism at all. Getting press is part of the music biz and Jon plays that game very well....

It does not matter if it is calculated if it is for a good cause. Let's remember every time there has been a tsunami, or a few years ago that video of all the celebrities struggling with ALS disease. Every time an artist or someone influential sends a video from home, they are making a call and feeding the message.

Here's the thing: Maybe he does it without a camera sometimes - how would we know?

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't.

Like I said, it's not a knock on Jon. you have to play the publicity game in the music biz.

You all seem to be missing the part where I said that I wasn't having a go at Jon for it. Just calling it was it is....
