You know it's bad when churches here in the Bible Belt didn't open their doors for Easter Sunday. That's something I never thought I'd see happen.
This. I really believe we're months away from them slowly lifting bans and things like concerts and large gatherings are so low on the totem pole of what's a good idea. Promoters know the risks, people dont want to go out if they don't have to. Next year will be a different story but this'll take time.

As someone said before, I don't think there will be any events at a larger scale this year anymore. In Germany, concerts and the kinds of events have been banned until at least August 31st as of today. And I can't see this being the end of it.

That Howard Stern interview was really good... Sirius XM is free just register and listen.

Romeo is going to be a musician.

Jon played the album for Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen.

I’m sorry Rolo, but this attitude of yours towards this extremely difficult - and serious - situation is more than a bit short-sighted and, may I say, even childish. This COVID-19 thing won’t be eternal, we’ll get the album at some point anyway (if there’s no other solution, I think we’ll get it even if the band won’t tour it) - we just have to be patient. Honestly no one in the world knows for sure how this situation will progress and how it will be handled on the long run. As Dominik said, there are far more important priorities in the world right now than us worrying about when a new Bon Jovi album will be released.

I put this in the tour section but another reason the album is delayed.

https://drycounty.com/jovitalk/bon-j...st1263309.html

This will cause issues. If the tour is postponed then maybe they can salvage some "sales" but if cancelled there will be no extra "sales" of the album.

Who can say what they will be doing in 2021? So I imagine the entire tour will be scrapped therefore theyve lost all their "sales" that take them to No 1.

Oddly Ive heard nothing about my GNR London gig which was supposed to be end of May.

Another issue, yeah, but tons of artists who don't have the same arrangement are delaying release for a multitude of reasons. People can't promote on the same level. I think that has something to do with it but I don't think the label, which has the end say in what happens, is prepared to release albums that can't be promoted.

Sorry if I sounded selfish, the new music is what I really need to get away from all this bad time.

I did a bit of digging throughout a few publishing sites and tracked down the song writers.

Brothers In Arms - Jon
Let it Rain - Jon
Lower the Flag - Jon
Luv Can - Jon, Billy
Shine - Jon, Shanks, Billy
Limitless - Jon, Billy, Shanks
Unbroken - Jon
Blood in the Water - Jon
Story of Love - Jon
Beautiful Drug - Jon, Billy, Shanks

Do What You Can is listed as "Jon, Placeholder" which was kind of weird to me. Also this lines up with that early review said about Jon writing a good amount of the record alone. 6 of the 10 tracks are just Jon, a surprisingly low amount of Shanks co-writes. For the record HAND had 4, LH had 5, Circle had 1, 5 for WAN, 5 for BB and 4 for THINFS.

Well, the second verse is gonna be co-written by a bunch of people from social media, isn't it?
