Besides some cringeworthy lyrics like the World Needing A "Hug", the song is almost already outdated... It's not timeless.

He's talking about a vaccine. For those paying attention, they have the vaccine, the testing is going well, and they are months ahead of schedule. (Thanks to Preisdent Trump)

By next summer, this song will sound 20 years old and relate to no one.

So far Limitless sounds the most like Bon Jovi to me and Jon's vocals are not raw and slurpy.

I guess any artist who's 40 years in and enters any category of Billboards top 200 is happy to consider that a "Hit"

Limitless was a Top 10 song on the AC Billboard chart. That counts as a hit to me in the genre they attract now.

And the song is not...outdated...this isn't anywhere close to over. You don't have to find a vaccine for people to not relate to the message. Until the vaccine is in the right amount of people (mid next year at best is my guess) this song is flat out relevant as hell.

I like both versions of DWYC, but Jennifer Nettles, gives that bit extra to it.

Vaccines have been in test since early April all over the world, that's not "having the vaccine", and it's definitely not thanks to Trump. The ****ing world don't revolve around the US, you know? You keep talking about Jon having an agenda, what about those random Trump comments you keep making?

About the song: Yes, it's a very specific song and it will not be relevant in a year or two, but I guess it's better than having songs with generic meaning and shallow analogies for that "universal message" Jon is always searching for.

I really like the duet version, it makes an already good song even better. Very catchy.

I agree that the song is dated, but it's also a very American song. The rest of the (western) world has dealt with the corona thing very differently compared to Preisdent Trump and a large part of America.

You're mixing up "Thanks to" with "According to".

Those who actually have paid attention know that the main is full of shit as pretty much every credible news source has contradicted the man's statements so far and he's never been right about the pandemic at any point in his Preisedential career.

The song with Nettles is great. I really like it. And Jennifer looks hot in the video. I hope it's a hit for them.
