Brothers in Arms and Beautiful Drug are two with a sound I never thought I'd hear from them again.

Uptempo:
Limitless
Do What you can
Beautiful Drug
Brothers In Arms

Midtempo:
Let It Rain

Slower/Balladish:
American Reckoning
Story Of Love (honestly could be either this or midtempo)
Lower the flag
Unbroken
Blood in the water

Do I have that right in your opinion? Some really classify as either.

Such a difference between the 30 and 90 seconds clips... This is why I hate samples.

I'm loving Blood In The Water and Brother In Arms

Beautiful Drug:Hate party Jovi so this a letdown for me
Story Of Love: Weakest track. Hopefully picks up
Let It Rain: Not bad. But have heard it before
Lower The Flag: My 2nd fave song but lyrics make it hard to listen to
Blood In The Water; Fantastic. The best song. Gives me Santa Fe vibes. More of this please.
Brothers In Arms: Party Jovi again. Ugh

As a parent, Story Of Love is probably going to be my favorite on the album.

I'm moved by it already.

Party Jovi with socially conscious lyrics is something I thought I'd never hear (Brothers in Arms). Beautiful Drug is almost.....Bad Medicine? At least in theory. Metaphors about love being medicine etc. That solo though, REALLY looking forward to that one in full.

one thing i realized... the production sounds a lot better than the previous albuns, cleaner, you can listen to every guy doing their jobs, the guitars doesnt sound like toy guitars...

90 seconds is a good chunk to make a fair judgement plus I played with a couple of the songs a little and finished/ looped some of the choruses so I have enough to make an early call...

Let me start with, I had zero expectations going into this album and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised.... I'm definitely looking forward to next Friday and the two or three bonus tracks.

I'm not going to do a major review until I hear the entire thing but here are some high level points...

This is giving me a very similar vibe as Burning Bridges did which is good thing.

- I hear bits of classic Jovi
- Jon's vocals are much better then I expected. Especially the chorus on Blood In The Water.
- The instruments and band are apparent
- The production...And no, it's not perfect and sure, some of its recycled. Like the ooohhh in Beautiful Drug. Been there, done that but it's not over the top either. Props to Shanks.

Blood In The Water has the keys of Dry County and a vibe of Sante Fe... and Jon actually sounds good... I need hear this entire thing now!!! Its Amazing!!

We don't agree much, but I'm 100 % with you on Blood In The Water.

I was trying to think of the second song it reminds me of. Santa Fe is it.
