Blood in the Water is gold.

Have you seen Forrest Gump movie? Do you remember that scene where Lieutenant Dan makes his peace with God after facing the storm with the fishing boat? Well, that's how I feel now.

That should have made the album.

I enjoyed the album although it's not near the top of my album rankings. I did a full review on YouTube; please check it out if any one has time:

That last hoarse "Let me live again" in Luv Can gave me goosebumps.

Maybe some native speaker can lift that "rain" reference for me?
Is this "let it rain" some American saying?
I had assumed it'd be something like "let it rain" in terms of "wash the sins off our hands" as it was in Dry County, but with the line "who's gonna stop the rain from falling down?" that wouldn't fit.
Is it meant as a metaphor for all the shit out there or that keeps hammering in?
Also there's the "hard rain" reference in Brothers In Arms.

Same! It reminded me of the first time I heard Jon on Who Would You Die For.

Touche. I like the way the whole song sounds, it is good produced and mixed, Jon's delivery is very passionate, as he used to do in the nineties, it made those simple lyrics feel powerful. The guitar solo, and those choruses at the end make it rise very high. It has that atmosphere that Into The Echo and I Will Drive yo home had, but Luv Can is better than these last two. Really a very special song. A treasure.

About Shine, I like it, but I'm not so passionate about it, it sounds too much like U2 for me, Bon Jovi shouldn't look for that sound, it doesn't suit him in my opinion.

An interview Jon gave to the German "BR" radio station via Zoom. Quite a nice one:

Right on!! For anyone on here who remembers me. I'm back!😉
Just about to take a dive into the new album. As far as the four songs already released... I prefer the DWYC with Jennifer Nettles(7.5-10), Unbroken with the Invictus Games Choir(8.5-10), our very own Rolo Tomachi's<thank you> extended version(should be released on itunes as a remixed version) of Limitless(8.5), & American Reckoning(7). From witnessing the positivity around here I'm most certainly amped to proceed with the rest of 2020 including the bonus tracks. Like a twenty year old college graduate moving back into his parents living room, I'll be sticking around.
