I feel like this album took on the same fate as Have A Nice Day for different reasons..

A handful of songs were reworked, rewritten, or replaced. I'd love to get a leak of the original album as it was intended to be released back in May.

Is anyone keeping track of all the differences?

Beautiful Drug was a complete song, then pulled back and rewritten.

I know there were others too.

There were changes on lyrics only in BD and Blood as far as I know

I THINK Lower the Flag was mentioned too but I'd need to find the quote. The bridge was clearly recorded on a different day so I'd imagine it's that.

He was specific about Beautiful Drug:
"It had a completely different verse."
"as the record took shape between March and June with the re-recording and the additional songs I rewrote the lyrics and I thought that it would be much more fitting of the rest of the material on the record, if they were all topical, and so in this moment in time while we are in fact looking for a vaccine, my substitution was love and I thought in that lyric, that was just one little page in this big book called 2020, but the lyric then was more specific and it's still rocked, so that's what happened but that song was finished, done..., ready for release and then I pulled it back and we rewrote it."

Funny that he would open the song with "Tear down your mask" in times like these when enough people refuse to wear masks. I know it's got a different meaning, but still...

I still got nothing after the initial purchase confirmation.
