Maybe that's why it's not track 1.

So with 2020 being BBC Radio 2's album of the week, they played a track each day - Let It Rain, Beautiful Drug, Limitless, Do What You Can and Brother's in Arms. The show gets high ratings, but I don't know if your average listener would buy the album.

He was asked about a time he got a song wrong he thought would be a hit and he brought up how he thought Because We Can would be massive and perfect for stadium and arenas and when they'd play it the audience would be like "NEXT". I'd have to listen again to get the wording right but he pretty much admitted they were forcing that song onto crowds haha.

Because We Can was really disappointing for me, Limitless is wonderful compared to this.

Annoying they played Limitless and DWYC as they have played them already when released.

Normally I'd say he's full of it but he also revealed he knew everyone hated Because We Can so there's something there!
I must've missed that one. Here it is: https://americansongwriter.com/jon-b...ave-the-power/

I really enjoyed it. I like Jon's attitude lately. He is honest, he's humble and he shows some kind of passion and retrospection.

He's repeated many times that he don't wanna rewrite Bad Name and Prayer. He never mentiones IML. Probably its copycats are too natural for him and he sees them as the typical BJ sound. That's why I'm so happy that for that album he didn't try to prove anything in terms how big the band is or whatever but reall wrote songs of topics that inspired him. I hope he expects that the album wouldn't be a commercial success and sticks to creating music this way.

Just listened to All Hail The King and Beautiful Drug back to back, the style in production is so shockingly better now.
