To you, maybe. I'm not paying $80/$200 a year to get Gimme Some or Nothing in a higher bitrate. We literally already HAVE THOSE SONGS.

You don't know what's in the box, so you're paying for whatever the box actually brings. You could get several demos from 1982 like Don't Leave Me Tonight or an alternate take of Wildflowers or What About Now, you don't really know what will be in the box.

I also want never heard before material, but I would also like to get those pending accounts that are great. What I mean is that having a couple of songs in these boxes, which you may have heard before but which are great songs and highly appreciated by the fans, would be cool and make it more attractive.

I do not see where the problem is.

If "Nothing" were included, it could be the best song of this box almost certainly.

My point is that if we are talking about a large number of tracks, suppose we get 30 or 40 tracks when all this is over, I would not mind that 6 or 7 tracks that we had already heard but were never officially release (Nothing, Gimme Some, Life Too Short, Game Of The Heart, Lonely Is The Night.....) finally are included in this collection, as long as this sounds good -High Quality.

What would bug me is getting poorly chosen live track, you know, Its my Life live from Philadelphia 2013, or Lost Highway Live from ... any show from any date... but we've never heard of it before.

I'd fight to the death to get these songs in high quality, so if you want to continue to detract from my point, I'm not going to give up.

If the box is sent with a declared Customs value of $600 on the Customs declaration then yes.

Thats before the Royal Mail Handling charge and any potential import duty payable (Might not be any depending on whats actually inside)

UK import VAT is currently due at 20% on any package over £15.

Right, well if it's 40 songs, yeah I think we'd all like that. But if we're in the position to hope for what we'd like in it and your two examples are songs we already have, I have to wonder why, right? Nothing and Gimme some we'd get the exact same song, just clearer. I'm aiming way higher if we only get a handful of songs. Sex Sells, This ain't a drinking song, Mona Lisa. A lot of this really depends on if it needs to be from the non Richie era, or from when Jon didn't have a full record contract, then we're talking slim pickings regardless.

Bigger picture, I'd love a better Nothing but if we're getting five songs for instance, nah. That's me. Not trying to detract you, just trying to understand why.

My why is precisely because I feel that those songs are pure gold, I don't think Mona Lisa is better than Nothing or Gimme Some, and I would even be willing to get the latter two before Mona Lisa.

But I understand your point. You want to discover and explore new journeys, and I also sign up for that, but if you tell me, for example, that I choose between Mona Lisa (never ear before) or Gimme Some/Nothing, my choice is not Mona Lisa. You know why? because at the end of the day, Mona Lisa is just a curiosity, instead, Nothing and Gimme Some would be songs that I would keep listening to over and over again.... and get it in clear sound quality, this would be like reaching nirvana for me.

I get your point, each one of us probably has their holy grail. If it came to concerts, I'd also love to explore shows that hadn't even been bootlegged and where we might not even know the setlist of what they played. Or concerts of the 80's and 90's. But if I had to choose, I'd put one from 2003 in front of all of them. But that's because it's my personal holy grail.
At the end of the day, I just hope that at least one or two of us end up sitting at home and being happy that they finally got what they wished for after all these years. And that we don't end up with 3 special cups, 2 bottles of Hampton Water and only one unknown song in the end

Yeah, that's a fair way to look at it. To each their own I suppose!

Maybe I should speculate what the tracklist will be, like I did for Burning Bridges and have some moron website publish it as official and it goes around the twitter-sphere

Add this (or only a fake track) to Wikipedia and there's users (at least one) here that'll freak out
