Fair enough, haha. Just saying let's not start acting like the Grammys only let in the best albums. I do agree, if all the world heard from it is Limitless it's not even getting on the street the Grammys are being held on.

The beginning of American Reckoning, telling the story in black and white in the studio and singing it only with his guitar, then giving a cut to the color on the new stage with the band, I liked it a lot.


I think I was prejudging this show too early. It seems to be worth it.

Nice audio mix, I wonder who was in charge this time around.

Very good choice to put Greg Mayo on aux mandolin/guitar.

This show breaks down who did what on the album as well. Shanks on solo for Blood in the Water but I'm really questioning the album credits for Lower the Flag now. I believe it says Shanks on acoustic and Phil on Electric. There is very very very little electric on that song, mostly the droning slide. The way Shanks plays that part live I'll bet both my hands that's him on the album as well.

Jon's having a lot of troubles keeping up breath wise on some of these songs. Bandwise, they sound tight. A lot of them (backing band I mean) sound exactly like the record and you can sorta tell which songs were more recorded live off the floor.

Jon sounded good, that's because he sung in a lower voice ( recorded for 2020 Album) that he's comfortable with. He struggled a bit on Blood on the Water, watching him sing that, shows why he can't sing like that for an album, except a few songs nowadays....

Overall I Enjoyed the live album.

Can see Jon struggling on Luv Can when he plays it.

But at least he still challenges himself with songs like Blood on the water, and Luv can, despite he struggles vocally with these type of songs.
