2020: The New Album

The JBJ Experience launched. It's the new backstage. It will have special content such as new songs, unheard demos and footage. One is called "Halo". Yesterday happened the special. 2020 live in it's full on facebook and it had an awesome work on the production. Backstage members got the 2 bonus tracks as extras. Everything leaked on YouTube now. Shanks says there is early talk of if they should record a new album in time for the tour. They're looking at possibly Fall of 2021 the tour could start at the earliest.

People will want to forget about this record once all the current crap is over. COVID has thrown such a dark shadow on the top of the whole 2020 album that there's probably no one who would like to reminisce anything connected to it ever again, come the next year or two.

Wow, Another new album would be fantastic, I really love discovering new music and seeing where they move. I really liked 2020, but this album wouldn't feel right in late 2021 or 2022, so let's see if they can get together and work all year long so we can get another new album.

Another thing, it's funny, but I hated John Shanks for so long, now I adore him, the guy is really there because he loves what he's doing. I just hope that their production rises and evolves for once.

I'm a little surprised Bon Jovi could produce another new Album, to coincide with the next tour Covid permitting.

I think fans could be disappointed in expecting something different to 2020, take-out "American Reckoning", "Do What you can", and "Unbroken" there isn't a lot to dislike including the bonus tracks.

Jon isn't one to change, Will the sales figures of 2020 change his outlook? Maybe, maybe not. I suspect not.

I still enjoy 2020, it's the best album overall in my opinion since the These Days, not vocally, but lyrically, fans need to be realistic that Jon can produce something like slippery, NJ, KTF And TD. He can't he's older ( he said, he's not going to sing another song like "you give love a bad name" and his voice can't sustain itself to sing like that on a entire album.

But I'm happy that he still pushes himself for songs like "Blood in the water", and "Luv can", despite his struggles.

Agreed, as much as I loved 2020, I don't see it holding 'till next year without touring. I hope they do at least an EP and keep the production as good as the latest.

John Shanks, still gets unfair criticism from fans. He does, what Jon tells him to do. If Ritchie Sambora comes back, musically it will be the same....... Who will the fans blame then? A new producer? I can't see Jon parting ways with John Shanks now. ( I actually liked "HAND", "TC", "2020", which to me are rockier records, than the others he's produced, again it comes to Jon's instructions and his limitations, which John Shanks is just following and doing his best with what Jon's got left.)

Yep, it would be fine to maintain the production level of 2020. Although I think it must also show something new to break the monotony. Each album should have its own entity and sound. Whatever it is, I am happy for this news.
