I have to assume the promotion for this would have been closer to that. The "how do you think Limitless is sung" was really smart.

Indeed! The "let's write our story in Do What You Can" engaged a lot of people too, but it wasn't for the record yet back in April.

That ending really was surprising. I mentioned earlier that I thought he may do what he done with the outro to Devils In The Temple and just not attempt it but he went further than that on this one!

The song is a gem and I have absolute faith in Jon to keep making more of these. Vocally was superb

I also saw Shine somewhere (sorry can't remember where, just clicked on a random link)

It's not my favorite song ever but with a better vocal performance like this one it ... ... ... shines

Really happy that these 2 songs were played, this is the modern BJ I love

I dont get the love for Shine - its by far the worst song on 2020, reminds me of WAN record, very modern pop. Most of the rest of the record is more like a classic rock record (Petty, Springsteen etc) with nods to band like Creedence, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits

I thought the end was solid enough but the overall performance wasn't great vocally, in my opinion.

Shine pretty sure is from 2012/13, so it obviously sounds like the WAN record

Shine and Luv Can were left off the album because they weren't Topical. They were just love songs that were written for the sake of writing a love song. When the album took the turn to be a Topical album, Jon had to take them off even though he knew they were great songs.

Another fan asked a question about certain songs being written and then rewritten until they were right... Jon said that there weren't many but Shine is one of those...

And the irony to all this is, the guy who asked the question was the guy who called out your Shine and Luv Can video on YouTube. I think Jerry was his name.
