2020: The New Album

I see with the disappearance of Parler, JoviTalk is now the place to spread right wing conspiracy theories.

Hey folks, I deleted the last few posts.

Here's the thing RD, it'd not because we're suppressing rights, silencing opinions or spreading falsities. You've just been told time and time again no one wants to hear about politics in these threads but seem to think you have your voice and will use it how you want.

Naw. Not here. Start a thread, have fun with it but you'll just keep getting deleted if you do it here. That goes for everyone. This isn't the part of the board to spark debate.

Thank you for doing this, and for keeping this place a worthwhile place to visit.

Jon, Tico and David Interview

Anyone else really bummed nothing is being done with the album. Take the political aspect of the album out and take out your own personal opinion about it.

This is a really good opportunity to put songs out that show a different side of the band. The band camp knows it's not going to sell, or appear to sell, without a ticket bundle so it surprising to see they haven't made some moves. Better lyric videos, one-off performances of the songs, social media campaigns.

Obviously this all requires spending money but if the alternative is staying quiet until it's time to tour and promote whatever album they do next, they're really sitting on a few good songs that are too timely not to do something with.

Jon had previously announced a deluxe edition for the holidays but that never materialised.

I think in December he was pushing the Christmas songs and January is generally a very slow month for sales. I fully expect a new single and push in February (hopefully Beautiful Drug). If nothing happens then, I think we can safely say that they have given up on the album
