Lyrics are good but not great.

First chorus especially sounds pretty terrible. Second one with more instruments sounds better, but the melody and the lyrics for this part are still pretty meh. Of course, if JBJ were to belt them out I Believe-style, with slashing guitar chords underneath, the melody and lyrics would probably work. I feel kinda bad for him considering neither his guitar guy nor belting out are on the table.

The harmonica solo is pretty damn cool, also as an arrangement choice. To me, it sounds super American, which fits the theme for sure.

Overall, it is a nice track, heartfelt and all. It absolutely does not kick ass, but I doubt that was the intention here.
