All I've been hearing about is how much they have but we never see any of it. Kinda like Richie's album that Bob Rock produced.

Sure, but why would we see/hear anything about it until 2024? Lord knows they have a bad next to amateur social media presence but we're hitting the point where things are rolling.

If we're in June and not another word has been spoken then that's my panic point haha.

Exactly. Especially when Jon said to expect something in the 1st quarter if I remember correctly.
I have high hopes for 2024

I guess we all have.
And I'm very sure that we will get something this year. And I'm a little bit scared of what it turns out to be
I don't keep record of what's been said and when it's been said. So does anybody know when the BJ camp last mentioned the Box Set? I have the feeling that it got quite silent around that specific release. After they made us curious they fell silent about it and put a new album much more into focus.

Hahahahahaha

For God sake we had enough of throwbacks and motivational quotes... it would be nice to have something concrete on what's to come this year... If they don't say anything until March I give up completely and forever on ther social media kids, I mean, staff.

Question

I can almost guarentee that it's Universal that are running their socials. I work with another band that deal with Universal and they are constantly pushing us to post similar content, most of which is rejected because it seems to be aimed at the completely wrong audience....seems that BJ leaves them to post whatever they want...

Jon Bon Jovi himself said he not techy, therefore leaving it to his team he assembled. ( I think they post his personal account as well JonBonJovi?)

In addition could Bon Jovi Social media do more to attract people? I think Thinny's answer may be yes......

I mean I get what they are doing, and some of it is fine, but they are probably run by 20 somethings that don't really know anything about the band or their audience. They only really know what younger people like and want from social media, and use a one size fits all strategy. They have no clue about legacy bands or who their audience are...in my opinion of course.

This. Absolutely this. It's fine for keeping the engine running and showing oeople they're an active band. I get the social media teams don't have to be diehard fans of what they're promoting but it's so very obvious they do their thing and don't involve the actual band much for of it. Def Leppard for example are doing things so perfect with their social media.
