Yeah, same for me. I haven't bought it yet either, there's so much better stuff out there so why bother with mediocre stuff? I remember Undiscovered Soul being seen as a great solo record, while reception to this record has been quite bad.

Salaam Aleikum,

Does anyone know what Stranger and Undiscovered Soul sold?

This must be crushing for Richie. Okay, the industry isn't what it was in terms of album sales, but to put out an album that he is clearly very proud of and has poured his heart and soul into and to see it ignored must be terrible. To have to cancel shows because of poor ticket sales (if that's what it was) must compound the hurt and embarrassment.
Read somewere Undiscovered Soul was about 40,000
Not 100% sure if that was for US only or for global sales
Both albums probably sold more than Aftermath but both albums
were under a major label I think Undiscovered Soul was Mercury

However, Richie filled the Shepherds Bush Empire.

And the bigger Circus Krone. And the Melkweg twice. Okay, second show wasn't sold out but it was well filled. First night was too crowded.

Sometimes we do not value what we have. The new album has good songs. Stranger in This Town, also has great songs. Undisvovered Soul is a great album.

Imagine if Richie had not make these albums.

I am a big fan of the band, but I love Richie Sambora.

U2's the edge, does not even have a ****ing solo album, sometimes we do not value what we have.

I think many fans will care more for successful than Jon himself.
