(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Yes that was ME!!!

That seriously was one of the coolest moments of my entire life. I posted the whole story back when it happened in the tour section but I will give you the abbrevaited version here. I had never heard Blood on Blood live in the six shows I had gone to. I had the actual setlist from three shows on the Bounce tour and Blood on Blood was on all three but as an audible and they never did it. I really thought I was never going to hear that song live. But I decided to make a sign requesting it. I had front row, I figured I would just hang it over the barricade but when I got to Albany they told me no signs allowed and wouldn't let me take it in.

I tried to sneak it in but it was a huge poster so there was no way I could do it. Towards the end of the concert we caught a glimpse David's setlist on the big screen and Blood on Blood was an audible again. I had to think fast, i asked everyone for a pen, and quickly (and sloppily and in the dark!) scribbled Dear Jon It's Almost Xmas I 've Been a Very Good Girl Please Play Blood on Blood. So I'm holding the sign for the first three songs of the enore and Jon is not looking at it at all. Then he sees it and gives me this smile and this look like maybe, we'll see. I am thinking there is now way they are doing it, it hadn't been played all tour up to this point. Then I think it was after BTBMB that he stops and reads my sign out loud, asks me if I've been good- it was like he stopped the show to talk with me... and then you know the rest since you were there... such an AMAZING moment. I will never forget that as long as I live... I was almost crying..... how Jon played my song for me because I asked for it. Too too cool! I kept blowing him kisses and mouthing thank you and i am pretty sure he knew how much him doing that for me meant.

So yes i put that in my signature because it was definitely a special moment!! I am searching for a bootleg video to surface.. keeping fingers crossed!

Just wondering if you could tell me what exactly an audible is?
Thanks, Ali.

On the setlist, there's a few audibles. Songs that they MIGHT throw in if the mood strikes them. I assume it's so the crew/guitar tech guys are ready beforehand, maybe?

This is a good post, I'd like to see the original lyrics too if someone knows what they are...

On that other note, you must have been so proud of yourself that night. I know I would have been. You think quick on your feet too.
