To me I read it as because Jon and the band said the split wasn't because of Richie's drinking and then switched to it had something to do with it, I got the impression that you thought they were lying because they didn't say that in the first place. They need to rehearse with Brazil coming up. Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses will be there. Surely, people will talk which band performed the best.

I mean, yeah, they're working on some thing but who knows what. An EP, A soundtrack song. hmmmm. REALLY like that if it's for an album the whole band is present for the pre-production phase.

Matt already said on Twitter that all 2018 shows would be in support of THINFS, which is why I don't believe a new album is in the works yet.

There's the possibility of a deluxe edition of it, or a re-release. Or a new single while they're still supporting the album. Either way, WAY too much time passed between the release of the album and the tour.
