Default Forever - Chart Tracker

Looking at the itunes chart it seems to be top spot in 20 plus countries which is great..but lets not get carried away just yet as its only been out a couple of days .

How do you think it will fair by the end of next week ?

I hope they a get a number 1 album in the uk, its been a few years and i think will deffo be a top 3 minimum with the amount of promo they have put in !

Think its nailed on in the states to top billboard !

I'd be pleasently suprised if they get a UK number one, but I'm predicting a no. 3. US top 10.

I'm not sure it will reach #1. They don't have the concert ticket bundle sales behind them, like 2020 which reached #13 in the US. Granted the promo for Forever is MUCH higher than 2020, and the pandemic period wasn't great for music sales in general. So who knows. Top 10 for sure.

Hoping for #1 in Australia but realistically I think it will be #5-3. I hope I'm wrong!

They've never used the chart bundle thing here in the UK and have usually peaked at No. 2 since Bounce. Burning Bridges at 3 and both 2020 and This House no 5.

Promo for Forever has been much better than both of those over here, so I think Top 3 is a safe bet.

In the UK we will get a midweek position on Tuesday, which will tell us how the album has done for the first part of the week. We need to bear in mind that a band like Bon Jovi will sell the largest chunk of their copies on pre-order, so the beginning of the week is when they sell most of their copies. More often than not it will slip a couple of places or so by the final chart, which is published on Friday.

I don't know how it is done here in the US? I guess something will be written about it?

Midweeks were a thing back then too, but before the internet it was just for industry people. Records released on Monday, Midweeks Weds and final charts Friday. Now it's Friday release, Tuesday midweeks, Friday Charts., so it's not that different really.
