I Need Your Love - Demo (I know there was a song circling around for years called "Hey Operator" but it's definitely not this).

You need a PHD in Puzzles to figure out how to navigate through this Backstage Website

The song you mentioned is called Take Me Home from the basement demos of SWW and also it was added somehow to the lyrics of I'd die for You (idk which demo version) and, that snippet's been there forever. Nothing has been updated on the bswbj

Two different songs. Only the "hey operator" bit is the same.

This one has a guitar part that became Burning For Love.

Oversight on my part. I thought it was a Slippery demo for some reason but it's there as a first album demo. I didn't realize the song was this early.

"Need Your Love" (Writing Session - c. 1983)

I'm not sure/I don't think there's any connection beyond the title, but Shark Frenzy/Richie Sambora has a song with the same title. I'll listen to the BSWBJ song later, but either way, I don't know if it's just a coincidence or if they reworked it.

Can confirm it's the same chorus listed.

The riff on this acoustic demo of I Need Your Love how sounds like a hybrid of Burning For Love and Deep Purple's Highway Star...

When this first launched, I recorded all the samples of unreleased material that were a minute-plus long. It's such a shame that it fizzled out. While the sound quality varies, as a fan (especially of the early days) I find most of these songs quite enjoyable.

The initial post on this topic was made on January 25th, 2024, and now, a year later, it seems to be dead in the water. They managed to get through 5 albums, including Crossroads, with no real updates on what's to come or what the intent of this thing ever really was suppose to be.

Just another FAIL by Bon Jovi's Management Company and another letdown to the long-term fans.

Couldnt agree more. The question is what is causing these fails? Were they just checking the response to the unreleased stuff? And then they decided lets just release a book? I still have hopes some of the songs will get a proper release, although its obviously not a priority for them right now.

But maybe we are wrong and are they working really hard on the box set behind the scenes. One can dream and have hopes, right?

I'd bet the world on it being cheapness.

But they clearly have all those demos transferred digitally. It costs nothing to make them available as a download to people and will produce revenue for them. For that amount of demos you would be able to charge a lot, even just as downloads. I don't understand what they are holding on to them for. It makes no sense. If there were looking at releasing deluxe multi-disc options for each album then I'd get it, but the recent/forthcoming (poor) double disc sets of the debut and Slippery suggest that isn't the case. This band just baffles me constantly...
