I suggested to him he should put the album in the intended original order. As I haven’t got the album in my hands yet (import CD on the way and vinyl delayed) I’ve never taken much notice of the order of songs on the CD but I can see why listening to the album in the released order maybe bit of a slog.
Edit - Japanese CD turned today. Not bad for £26 inc pp

To be fair, it took me a few listens for 1/2.
Still can't stand Story Of Love except the outro, though.
