“I had a fulfilment to the label and we were going off to Southeast Asia. So I thought, ‘This is great.’ It’s songs I like but aren’t my next album. So these are good songs that wouldn’t have made the record and a couple that are ending the era. A Teardrop To The Sea is the serious lyrical content of ‘you broke my heart,’ and Burning Bridges is just what it says it is.”

I have a question...

Who's singing backing vocals on 'Sunday Morning', 'Life is beautiful' and 'I'm your man'?

It really sounds like Richie. If it's David, it's doing a pretty good job "emulating him", especially in 'Life is beautiful'.

It's definitely Dave. If you saw them live on the Because We Can tour, you would have heard his backing vocals more prominently than on past tours.
