Now, who's to ask him where Nickelback's song fit in the picture?
If BJ's song is 8/10 yo and NB's song is 7/8 yo, who copied who? How come NB knew an unfinished BJ song or BJ knew a NB song? Is it another "Because The Night" case where the sound engineer is the culprit? And since Nickelback released the song first, why on earth did BJ do it too now, 7 years after NB, and as a single on top of that? There's no method in their madness!

Jon's flippant 8 to 10 year answer was a best guess. It's the same as him saying Ordinary People was recorded for These Days and then mentioned that Lullaby song it definitely borrowed from that came out a few years after that. It's the same as him originally saying Why aren't you dead is from Crush. He's bad with years and dates. No doubt in my mind this song came AFTER Nickebacks.

Right now, i have no idea what to expect from this track listing... It's such a puzzle trying to unravel all this with all the conflicting information.

If these were older songs like Jon stated, you would think Richie would have played a bigger role in writing more than just the one.

Being that the 2016 album is done, I think this album will contain those leftovers.

I'm going with my original concept. It's Reunion, BD, the two new ones and the rest are from this 2016 album (or maybe one more recycled from TC to WAN). I think it's going to be much more simple then people are making it out to be on here.

Hopefully we do get a bonus track or 2 from the Japan Edition.

My thoughts too.

Then is there a hidden message in releasing it as a single or am I reading too deep into it? The message would be: we used to plagiarize other bands and ourselves as well, "we" includes Richie, but now he's gone and we're turning the page, starting anew and won't rehash our old songs or copy others, from now on we're gonna be original. (<== joke (sarcasm?) spotted )

I think everyone is reading way to into everything. I think SNGMSM is misleading and throwing everyone off. They had an unfinished song and finished it for this project. However, this is more or less an extended EP of leftover tracks from the forthcoming album. These songs probably would have been just released as demos but in order for them to count towards an album, they needed to be completed which probably isn't much of a difference anyway...

If you are all thinking that you are getting leftovers from TC and WAN, I think you are all going to be disappointed.

But how "unfinished" could it have been if Seb heard it in a promo for The Circle?

I thought about that myself and then came to the conclusion that I don't believe anything he says.

Well, alrighty then. I guess that takes care of that!

That dude comes here, makes statements, and then doesn't back them up...

Bottom line, even if his statement was true and he heard some unmastered version, it still doesn't change the fact that I think Sat Night is the only exception to this album and everything else falls under the 2016 leftover category.
