Teardrop is excellent. Odd way to start the album, but whatever. The only thing that bums me out is how much MORE amazing it would be with Richie playing the solo. He'd have written it better and cranked it out.

Blind love has some nice lyrics but it uses the word Love too much. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Teardrop....proves you should never judge a song on 30 seconds so I won't be doing that anymore. The song is absolutely phenomenal.

Did Richie not play on this one? I'm lost on what he played on and what he didn't! I know he didn't play on WDR.

Teardrop has quickly become one of my favorite post 2000 songs. Amazing that Jon felt it didn't fit an album.

It has a bit of a Circle vibe to it. Maybe it was jettisoned for When We Were Beautiful?

I think it's fair to assume that anything Richie recorded has been removed from all these songs.
