And the guitarsound is totally different to Richie's sound. Kinda refreshing really, only thing I'm missing on these songs is Richie's backing voice.

Apart from that Blind Love is a total snoozefest.

I think Jon has wanted to make a dark song like 'Sleep like a Baby Tonight' by u2, but not is so cool.

Teardrop reminds me of "Something to Believe in mixed with "When we where beautiful" .. i really like the guitar Sound and this dark/depressed mood of this Songs 9/10

Blind Love - i love it too, beautiful melodie and Jons Voice is really up to it !! great tune 9,5 / 10

BTW, lyrics usually don't do this, but when I listen to Blind Love and really listen to the lyrics, It gives me goosebumps.
You're right.
Teardrop is absolutely great, but I like Blind Love as well. I'm really looking forward to Burning Bridges and to the "real" new album.

Why this is not a real album? for now it's better than What About Now.

I never want to hear Blind Love again. It's stronger than its equivalents on WAN, but its not a direction I care for.

Teardrop is a great track. Moody, atmospheric, certainly get the hint of "Its Just Me" that has been mentioned (favourite DA song). I've had it on repeat for the last 30mins, it gets better each time.

My only slight criticism and its not a massive deal, is the way the vocals are recorded, if they had been given even a touch more studio doctoring, it could have made this a really powerful song. Its got a slight feel of demo about it, probably since Jon considers it a B side. One of the final 'Ahh Love pick me up' lines sounds almost live. He so nearly goes full rasp but pulls away (like he does on the rare occasions live).

If their 2016 album sounds like WDR and Teardrop, i'll be a happy fan. After WAN I thought I might have been done with caring about their new material. Not since Have A Nice Day have I been this excited about a new Bon Jovi sound. Fingers crossed.

Bought both tracks this morning. Very impressed with the sound of Teardrop, although it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually for WAN and was left off in favour of the more positive Room at the end of the world.

Blind Love is pretty dull but it's not without merit.

I'm really liking the sound that this album overall, it's a real shame that this is going to be a hidden album to all but the fans really as there's a lot of good, and more importantly different, sounds that could have really hooked in the record buying public. It's a real shame that a song as exciting as We Don't Run will not be pushed as a proper lead single. But here's hoping that the new album in 2016 will be even better.
