Well... Since they started playing songs from LH live, there's a female violinist playin' with them... I think she's hot... Don't know if she really is hot, but I find the violin very sexy... so who is she??

Yeah, I noticed that too. And you're right about her being hot. And her name is apparently Lorenza Ponce. She's played violin for Sheryl Crow. I doubt she's a member of the band, but she'll probably be on tour with them.

Apparently she's been playing with Jon's solo band for years ... I hope they do take her on tour, as well as the obvious *ahem* aesthetic pleasures, I think MAM sounds way better with the violin

Same here. She was on the Wal-Mart exclusive DVD.

Lorenza has played with Jon for years at charity and one offs. she is on the promo shows here in the US and one assumes overseas as well, along with a guy named Kurt I believe doing the steel guitar banjo work. My guess is they are all in for this project and will be on tour with the band come January.

On a serious note, I think it would be great if she stays with them. If you've noticed she has been playing during Who Says, a song which I think benefits from the violin presence.

HOWEVER, I think she's also been playing during Wanted (correct me if I'm wrong), a song which I don't think benefits from it at all.

Maybe I'm wrong but wasn't she with them on the CrossRoads show with Sugarland, back then I thought maybe she was part of SL's band but then I saw her just now on the wal-mart sound check thing. Or was that a different woman?

All those who where complaining about Bobby and Jeff last tour seem to be on board for the band taking the beautifull Lorenza Ponce on tour.
