Default Bon Jovi X Pitbull

Look, here's the thing. I'm not going to care for it, it's not my thing BUT this is a very real chance IML has a big comeback because of it, trickling down to new fans. Will they benefit from the crossover? Maaaaybe?

Hopefully it happens. Then again, IML is probably the biggest BJ song in rest of the world (I would say bigger than Prayer in Europe, don't know for Latin America), everybody and their uncle knows it. I wanted to argue also that Pitbull is not that relevant anymore, but it's case by case basis. I see he is still a massive name in Latin music.

hmm yeah, Pitbull hasn't had a hit for a long time either now. I don't know which of them this collaboration would benefit more. I can't see it doing much to be honest.

Exactly. That's like expecting a Bon Jovi feature would help generate a hit in 2010.

I don't think it guarantees a hit but I can see IML having a second life to it with this. Pitbull is so far from the type of stuff I listen to, can't speak for how popular his new music is but it's one of those acts that feels pretty prominent in clubs. I honestly think this could help the band or at least reach people too young for IML....

...just thinking about people too young for IML must be what it felt like when people my age were too young for the band in the 80's came on board haha

I really wished Bon Jovi ( JBJ) would release "Waves" from "Forever"

Great song, could be a hit, not on the scale of IML, but could get airplay and streams.

Unless JBJ has gave-up on Forever? But not promoting your best song of the Album ( yes there are other good songs) is crazy....with People's House ( which I like from the Album).....

it's insane to me that this hasn't been a single. It's the best thing on the record by far for me.

Yes, strange....Who knows? Perhaps to show Bon Jovi can still make a good song, JBJ may just release "Waves", but he would have done it by now....

How many times DID Jon actually release the best song of the album in the last two decades? We're talking about the guy who says about himself he'd be a terrible A&R agent. Someone who thought Welcome To Wherever You Are was gonna strike big and wanted to axe Livin' On A Prayer.

Jason Isbell is pretty hot right now, I don’t get why they’re not trying to capitalize on that relationship. Did Jason do the guitar work for the song? If not, that was a huge missed opportunity. Jason is an amazing guitarist.

I don’t have a lot of hope for the pitbull remix, I don’t think it will bring a lot of new fans into Bon Jovi, who aren’t already familiar with the song, it might be around for a few weeks, but that’s probably about it. I do think it’s cool for Jon to collaborate with different artists though, so good for him doing that.
