Yep. Ridiculous, really.

It's something new. It could be great. It could be absolutely dreadful. But if they announce a new song and the initial reaction is negativity, I don't know why people post on here. We've not even heard a snippet. Madness.

Why? It's a lot more fun to think about these kinds of things.

Plus it *might* give us a sneak peek at the production styles coming up?!! Either way, it's pretty soon!!
What do you mean production style? Its ****ing Shanks sucks, its gonna be terrible and dull as always.

Jon doesn't give a single f**k about Richie, why should we romanticize something that's purely about money now?

Hard disagree. WAN was a cluster**** of overly compressed everything, THINFS had a few songs with too-distorted vocals, 2020 was easily by far the most natural the band has sounded. Jon sounded like shit but it was far less processed sounding.

Shanks isn't a shitty producer, him producing the band the way Jon wants them to sound/the only way to make Jon sound not like a cat on fire is a huge problem that feels like it's being corrected FINALLY. Song quality aside, 2020 was a good sounding album.

What type of song are you expecting? A fun, upbeat rocker? A slow, melancholy ballad? Some schmaltzy saccharine lyrics about how we are all the same and Christmas is for all?
