I hear you. I am a year older than you.

I don’t understand the logic of the charts nowadays. It was easy back in the day but not anymore. I mean, what makes a hit? The streams on Spotify or iTunes downloads, physical album sales, radio play…? I miss the 80’s.

UK Sales breakdown below:

1 Bon Jovi - Forever (18,587) [16,854 physicals, 1,322 downloads, 411 streaming]

2 Charli XCX - Brat (16,219)
3 Taylor Swift - The Tortured Poets Department (7,956)
4 Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft (6,017)
5 Aurora - What Happened To The Heart? (4,045)

It really is going to be between Bon Jovi and Charli XCX - it's very close. Bon Jovi's streaming is very weak. But it looks like they are guaranteed a no. 2 at least.

Does anyone know sales figures for 2020 and THINFS for UK?
