No that's not how it works. Very complicated....but the streams are the equivlant on 411 sales...

Those are download sales, not streaming. So those people purchased the album for download rather than streamed it. Not many people do that these days, everybody streams, so those charts are largely irrelevant. As you can see they got to number one on downloads with less than 1.4k downloads - which shows just how few peoople actually download music these days.

I really do wish it were the good old days of when it was just albums sold!

Your link is in English and I know it is English yet it seemed all Greek to me. I couldn't follow it at all.

It really is going to be between Bon Jovi and Charli XCX - it's very close. Bon Jovi's streaming is very weak. But it looks like they are guaranteed a no. 2 at least.

Does anyone know sales figures for 2020 and THINFS for UK?
The gap is closing...

Charli is only 1300 behind now...she released a deluxe edition yesterday which would have helped her too.

Not looking good. Hopefully she has that influx of sales and that's it for the next few days.

In US' iTunes it has just dropped from #1 to #2.

It's still holding #1 in these countries:
Australia
Austria
Canada
Germany
Spain
Switzerland
United Kingdom

Yup, which means that streaming the top 2 songs (if we knew what those were - guessing LP & Legendary?) won't actually affect the total numbers. We need to give the less popular songs a boost for the best chance of improving the numbers. I'm leaving "I wrote you a song" on repeat overnight (on silent!) as it's one of the shortest so will loop through more times.

I'm sure I should have better things to worry about in my spare time...
