I think the real problem here is that you know jack shit about the industry and I do, yet whenever I say something on here you didn't know before or goes against what you believe in you get your panties in a twist over something simple as me stating something about the charts, and then feel it's justified to start talking to me in a derogatory way. I can do this too, as I just did so. It's not getting anyone anywhere on here though, apart from individuals such as yourself trying to raise hell over getting offended over simplistic things like the purpose of a chart.
I don't need to prove anything here, it's a well known fact among people who actually know how the charts work, know what they stand for nowadays. It's common sense, really, when looking at how it all works. Yet the first thing you do is questioning it all as if I'm deliberately trying to offend you, as opposed to asking "why" or something to such extend. Andi explained it quite well but it seems that the willingness to actually learn something from eachother is completely gone from this board.
Now I'm wondering though, would it have offended you if I'd have said the same thing the other way around? If I'd have said your chart was a good indicator as to what was relevant and the U.K. chart was an indicator for what's popular nowadays? Would that offend you?

Don't put words in my mouth I didn't say. I never said either chart was more important than the other. They both serve their purpose. It wasn't any attempt at critisizing Americans, but the way some Americans in this thread behave in general towards anything that isn't American is really the reason why it's easy to critisize Americans. A large part of the population in America is making it very easy (and fun) to do so.
I do think Sexx crossed the line with his remarks towards nuking Japan etc. I rarely get offended about anything people say about me or the Dutch, but making jokes or trying to raise hell out of a tragedy like the war, or 9/11 is just something I've stopped doing years ago. And if people really put my replies in the same catogory of his all I can say is that you didn't read my replies quite well because a lot of information flew right over your head.
