It really is all about touring now, seems thats the only way to make proper money. Its no coincidence the amount of veteran rock acts that have taken to the road in the last 5 years.

Glad to see them topping the US charts.

Ready good little tool that was.

Crossroads is Jovi's bigging selling album in UK - over 2 million.
In Mercury records list of top 15 selling uk albums Jovi feature about 4 or 5 times.

Would be interesting to see how many are sold now. Last one I tracked was HAND then I got made redundant in 06.
Man..I'd be all about that tool, lol! Too bad you are not still with them or maybe not if you've since moved on to something even better.

Looks like Bon Jovi are beating Bowie to number 1 so far in US.
When I'm buying a CD nowdays, my classmates will ask me why don't I download them instead of buying them. My answer is because I like the authenticity
so the end of CDs is closer than we imagine.

What do you mean finally? The Circle and Lost Highway both went to #1.

Just for curiosity..what's the source??

And Bowie is desesperate...

Quote:
Now that balance seems a little unfair, frankly. Bon Jovi already has four number one albums under its belt and while Bowie has had four Top Ten albums on the Billboard chart, that top spot eludes him. So come on Bowie fans of the USA, you can do this. Let‘s make The Next Day #1 and the title of Bon Jovi‘s album, What About Now, even more ironic than it already seems.
